The Adult Services Department provides a wide variety of therapeutic options to meet the needs of Spartanburg County.
- In all Adult programs, individuals collaborate with the assessing clinician to determine what services will be best to start with at time of the initial consultation. Once enrolled, treatment is an ongoing process that can include transitions and changes based on an individual’s needs and progressions through the treatment process.
- We understand that people’s schedules require flexible options, therefore, morning, afternoon, night, and weekend groups are offered to best meet the needs of the individuals served. Assessments are provided during walk-in hours; however, accommodations may be made if special circumstances arise.
Our Adult Services include:
If you are experiencing family, job, marital or other problems due to your or someone else’s substance use, outpatient services may be beneficial for you. With the help of counselors, clients can learn new ways of coping, reduce substance use, and improve relationships.
Adult Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)
This program provides additional support in achieving recovery from substance use disorders. Clients in this program live at home and continue to attend work or school while in treatment.
Co-Occuring Treatment
This program seeks to help clients who also have mental health symptoms, and to treat the person, not the disease. Counselors facilitate group and individual counseling to help develop new coping skills, resolve past trauma, manage medications, and make referrals and coordinate with other agencies when appropriate.
